I finally finished the wall-hanging for my mom and besides the glitter, her favourite colour is red. I did the flower pot with a black sparkle which seemed to calm the piece down a bit. It's not really my thing but mom loves it and can't wait for it to be hung in her room. It should be interesting to hear any comments she receives, and I really did enjoy working on it, applique is one of my favourite things to do.

Wow! Your glitter wall hanging is going to be a real conversation piece at Mom's nursing home. It turned out beautiful! The background material was a great choice. The whole piece will bring everything together in Mom's room with her red curtains and comforter.
